Sean Parks on Public Safety

Sean strongly supports proactive and community based policing efforts. Our police men and women are spending too much time simply running around responding “after the fact.” As our County grows, there is increasingly less time for our officers to engage with the community, gain trust, and stop crime before it happens. This must change! Sean will support the Lake County Sheriff and City Police Chiefs in their efforts to put more officers on the streets and become more community oriented.

Sean supports firefighters and EMS responders. Sean has been an ardent leader in fighting to reduce duplication of services while increasing efficiencies and bettering response times – because every second counts and no patient or victim cares about whose logo is on the responding vehicle. Sean helped shape Lake County Fire and Rescue’s vision to become more than just a “responder” to proactive community involvement in issues such as disaster preparedness, health awareness, and animal services.
